COLOR ME PRETTY

Come join us for adult coloring an crafting time on Tuesday, December 11th at 1:00 pm. New ideas always welcome. We will have an area to play games also, if anyone is interested.

 

COOKIES FOR SHUT-INS

While making your family favorite for Christmas, could you share with our shut-ins? Candy, cookies, bars or whatever. WE Team will be making plates and delivering them on Wednesday, December 12th.

DAY AWAY

Day Away in December will be here a the church. We will be making a Christmas craft and having a soup lunch on December 13th. Cost is $10.

                                                      

 


PARENT NIGHT OUT

Chad Lawson and his Senior High Sunday School Class will be hosting a Parents' Night Out. This is open to children of all ages. They will be collecting a free will offering which will go to help those effected by the California Fires. Please preregister by December 15th. There is a link to the form on our Facebook page or contact one of the Senior High youth.

 


SUNDAY SCHOOL

 

December 16th we will have a pancake and Pajama Party. We will be watching a Christmas movie while we enjoy the pancakes!

 

On December 16th Duke's class will enjoy a fellowship breakfast and lesson at Steve & Marsha Nuckel's residence. 

 


 

CHILDREN AND YOUTH ACTIVITIES

FAITH EXPLORATION will meet on WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 12th from 4:30-5:30pm in the room just off the elevator.

WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 12TH the youth will be going to Swan Place to Carol, have pizza and decorate cookies. Please have your youth at the church at 5:30 and pick up will be at Swan Place at 7:15.

If you would like to know more about out youth program click on the picture below. Jason is currently seeking a helper for the Youth Program, if you are interested contact Jason Bush. Also we now have a sign up sheet for youth meals. If you would like to volunteer to make meal for our youth please type in your name next to the date on the MEAL SPREADSHEET.

 

 

UM KIDS will meet on WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 12th, this will be a service week.

UM Kids will be meeting ONLY ON THE EARLY OUT DAYS. More information is available by clicking on the icon below. Please remember to register for this program.

Mini Methodist will meet again on Tuesday, December 11th from 6-7 pm. They will be having pizza, making a craft and having a game time.


Gifts of Goodness

The toys and clothing items will be picked up on Friday, December 14th. This is the last week to drop off your NEW UNWRAPPED TOYS/CLOTHING ITEMS.

 

 


 Starting December 3rd, we will start collecting warm clothing items for our area school children. This year they are in needed of heavy gloves & mittens (not the knit kind), socks, sweatpant or elastic waist pants size 5-14/16, sweatshirts, and underwear for younger children. You can place your items under the tree in the front entry with the toys.


As we prepare to celebrate the birth of Jesus, please remember the staff. Thanks.

 


MISSIONS OPPORTUNITIES

Food Pantry is need of many different food items as well as tolietry items at this time. There seems to be an increased need during the holidays. Needed at this time are canned meats and tuna.

During the Month of December we will be taking donations for the fire victims in California. The money will go to the UMCOR relief for fire victims. Please mark your envelope or check "California fires".

 


CommunityEvents:

->PROM CLOSET is now taking donations of clean, gently used Prom dresses, shoes and accessories. Check out flyer on bulletin board by front desk for more information.

->December 9th is the Carroll Community Christmas Concert at 3:00 pm at Holy Spirit.

->New Opportunities is looking for individuals to help sort and wrap gifts on December 17-19. Contact Christena Grossman at 792-9266 ext. 720 if you are interested in helping them.

-> Jingle and mingle Holiday party at Swan Place is Wednessay, December 12th from 1-3 pm.
